Spend some Family Fun time while Camping! Head east on Highway 16 and stay at the VEGREVILLE ELKS / KINSMEN COMMUNITY PARK or head southeast on Highway 14 and set up camp at the EDGERTON SAND CASTLE CAMPGROUND

Check out the facilities at Fish Lake Park located 2 km west of Hardisty – complete with a lakeside gazebo, covered day-use shelter, two large group sites, playground, beach area, fishing and free firewood.

Burma Park Campground, south of Alliance, features 21 campsites great for tenting with both no power, and powered sites (15 amps). Caretaker, picnic shelter, sani-station, showers ($2.00), flush toilets, three baseball diamonds, canoeing, day-use area, fishing, and playgrounds.

Huber Dam features group camping with a camp kitchen, an events building, campfire pits, a playground, baseball diamonds, horseshoe pits, and fishing. You’ll also have access to a boat launch.

The Alliance Recreation Grounds Campground offers group camping with power, water, and dump station. You’ll also enjoy access to the day use areas and a baseball diamond.

Galahad Campground offers six sites with water and 30 amp power, along with a public washroom and shower house.

Diplomat Trout Pond is located on Highway 855, across from the Diplomat Mine Interpretive Site near Forestburg. Enjoy wildlife watching from the nature trail as well as fishing in the annually stocked Rainbow Trout pond. 15 non-serviced lots are available for camping on a first come, first served basis.

In Halkirk, camp at either the Berry Street Campground (eight full-service camping stalls featuring picnic tables an playgrounds), or the Lions Park Campground (unserviced camping, featuring treed areas, fire pits, and picnic tables).

Castor offers the Lions Campground (14 unserviced campsites with free firewood available as well as tap water, a picnic shelter, day use area, and fire pits), and the RV Campground (40 sites with power and water, adjacent to golf course, and ball diamonds).

Sand Castle Campground in Edgerton offers twelve fully serviced sites with two overflow sites and a dump station. Open from May until September, reservations are accepted and can be made by calling the Village of Edgerton office at 780-755-3933.

Fish Lake Campground is located approximately 2 kilometers west of Hardisty and features 20 sites with eight being serviced, six with 30 amp power, two with 15 amp power, and the remainder being unserviced. You’ll enjoy the great day use area with a covered shelter, fishing, a playground, beach with swimming, fire pits, horseshoe pits, and a golf course nearby.

Coronation Dam Campground, located at the dam site in Coronation, offers you 40 sites (some fully serviced, some partially serviced), as well as a large space for tenting. A newly constructed washroom and shower house are on site, as well as a dump station, a camp kitchen and a large, new playground for the kids to enjoy. Fishing enthusiasts can drop a line in the Coronation Dam, home to Rainbow Trout and Northern Pike. Small fishing boats can be launched at the dam as well.

In Killam, camp out at the Centennial Park Campground – a relaxing location with power and water hook-ups, FREE firewood (as available), and washroom and shower facilities. Sites are available on a first come, first served basis.

Holden Campground, located at the northeast corner of the Village of Holden, provides three 30 amp powered sites and four unserviced sites with an overflow camping area also being available. You’ll find a picnic shelter, tables, fire pits, potable water tap onsite, nearby dump station, and nearby playground, ball diamonds, and spray park.

Strome Campground encompasses 25 non-serviced, treed sites and features fire pits, fire grills, and nearby ball diamonds, playground, hall, and gazebo.

Edgerton Days Campground, located just south of Daysland on Range Road 163, features twelve total camp sites (four powered; eight non-serviced), as well as a covered picnic area, playground, a number of group use areas, as well as overflow camping and parking.
