Discover the fresh flavours of produce from local vendors, beautiful crafts and jewelry, sweet treats and much more. There’s something waiting for everyone, try them all and discover your favourite!
Pysanka Park Market
What could make an outdoor farmers’ market even more fun? Simple, having a farmers’ market located at the world’s largest Pysanka, of course! A Pysanka is a Ukrainian Easter egg, decorated with beautiful Ukrainian folk designs. Now, imagine the fun and excitement of local vendors, artisans, bakers and gardeners combined with the beauty and intrigue of the largest Pysanka on the planet! We think that’s pretty cool, and we’re sure you will, too! Head to Vegreville on Thursdays from 5 p.m. – 8 p.m. at the Vegreville Kinsmen Park for all the fun.
Sherwood Park Farmers’ Market
Farmers’ markets don’t have to just be summer fun! The Sherwood Park Farmers’ Market is a year-round market, so you can enjoy the fresh taste of local produce all year round! Find specialty products made or grown by local vendors every Wednesday from 4 p.m. – 8 p.m. This market is located at 401 Festival Lane in the Strathcona County Community Centre between the months of January – May 10th, the Festival Place parking lot from May 17th – October 4th, then it returns to the Community Centre from October 11th- December 20th to close out the year.
Andrew Farmers' Market
Your Saturday farmers’ market from April – October is waiting in Andrew! Operated by the Andrew Agricultural Society, this market is open every Saturday from 1 p.m. – 3 p.m. with several special markets also running throughout the season for an extra bonus of fun. Come together with the rest of the community of Andrew for fun, food and festivities at the Andrew Arena, and find out just what makes this non-profit community group so special.
Smoky Lake Farmers' Market
Searching for the perfect way to spend your morning? Well, the town of Smoky Lake is waiting! This market runs on Saturdays from April – December from 10 a.m. – 12 p.m. Enjoy farmers’ market favourites like local produce, dairy, baking, meats, farm fresh eggs and crafts, as well as some unique treats such as traditional Ukrainian food. Psst! Did you know this market has a Pumpkin Festival held every year in October? During this special event, the market is held outdoors in large tents with around 90 vendors! If you plan on visiting the market during the August long weekend, please note that the market is held at the Smoky Lake Curling Rink.
Redwater Farmers' Market
Looking for just the right evening market? Head over to Pembina Place in Redwater every Tuesday until August 29th for the perfect farmers’ market experience. Hosted by the Redwater and District Agricultural Society, this market runs from 4 p.m. – 7 p.m., just in time to pick up all the fresh ingredients you need for dinner. Check out all the fresh baking, delicious homemade food, interesting crafts and commercial products that are waiting in Redwater!
Long Lake Provincial Park Market
Enjoy shopping around this unique market, at Long Lake Provincial Park! Open on Saturdays from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. this farmers’ market offers all things handcrafted and locally grown, with delicious baking and preserves ready for the taking. You can find this unique market at the day use area in Long Lake Provincial Park. Don’t miss out, fun and festivities all await at the lake!
