Harvest time is Upon us! 
Which also means tons of fresh veggies, canned goodies, and an abundance of Food! The Go East region is rich with local producers and farmers markets to buy their goodies! No matter what you desire, buying locally is an option for you. Round Hill is home of the Irvings Farm Fresh bacon, which was voted the best by VUE weekly in Edmonton. In Smoky Lake County you will find Serben Farms, who provide a wide variety of fresh produce, homemade sausage and more! The County of Smoky Lake and the Go East crew have teamed up for an initiative to promote local agriculture and culinary producers in the Smoky Lake Region. We have been exploring Smoky Lake and area to find all the best local producers of honey, farm fresh veggies, all your meats and more. Stay tuned through our Facebook page or our website for the brochure that will guide you through Smoky Lake Region Agricultural and culinary experience.

And you won't want to forget the Smoky Lake Pumpkin Festival on October 6th!
