Take a drive to Tofield and discover this hidden gem just 40 minutes east of Edmonton. This thriving community boasts a population nearing 2,200, and features a variety of local and unique businesses serving the area.

ATTRACTIONS & EVENTS
This family oriented community features several annual events, recreation facilities, and opportunities for all ages. Indoors or outdoors, summer or winter — there is something for all ages here in Tofield. Stroll the walking trails, bring the kids to the spray park, play a game of hockey or curling, or participate in year-round soccer.

The Beaverhill Lake Nature Centre and Museum facility, located on the service road to Tofield, is a great place to begin your visit. Open regularly from June through Labor Day, the facility is home to numerous interpretive displays on the rich natural and cultural history of the area, as well as a supply of tourist information to assist your further travels.

During 2017, Tofield is host to a variety of fun events throughout the year in celebration of Canada 150. 150 trees, including many fruit trees, will be planted. A rewarding Stamp Around program as well as themed displays at each farmers' market and in the window of the Busy B Bargains store will offer opportunity to learn myriad interesting facts about Canada's rich history.

Tofield also hosts many other annual events including the Bull Bash, Rodeo, car show, fiddler's jamboree, community markets, Winter Festival, and ball tournaments – just to name a few!

EAT SHOP STAY
A wide array of businesses serve this area, including drugstores, grocery, hardware and automotive shops, along with a unique saddlery store and ice cream shops. Unique local businesses in the area include: Beary Berry Honey, Hastings Lake Gardens and Maple Park Farm Greenhouses & Garden Centre. Those looking to stay overnight should try the cozy railroad cabooses at Footloose Caboose Lodge, and enjoy a meal in their dining car. Check out Busy B Bargains for “next to new everything” and don't miss a visit to Belle Star Boutique and The Moonshine Café – Tofield's only boutique and specialty café in a beautiful historic building right on mainstreet. Shop for local produce at the Tofield Community Hall Market.

OUTDOORS
Bring the camper and stay in the Tofield Campground, located right in town. The campground has 18 sites, indoor washrooms and showers, as well as power to all sites. Hit the links at the golf course, relax and spend the afternoon birdwatching, or visit nearby Black Nugget Lake Park. Enjoy the quiet setting with a picnic in one of the many parks and playgrounds located in town.
