Smoky Lake Region Campgrounds

This is a nature lovers paradise! Enjoy the bird watching from one of the 13 un-serviced campsites. Amenities available are firewood, pit toilets, non-potable water pump, boat launch and a camp kitchen.
Smoky LakeHanmore Lake Campgrounds
Open: May – Sept. 16 km North of Smoky Lake on Hwy. 855; then 4 km West. 780-656-6580
A popular retreat with two campgrounds giving you access to all the water activities you could dream of. Hanmore Lakes West has 37 sites, and Hanmore East has 16 sites plus a large group site. Kayak, canoe and Paddle Board rentals are available at hourly and daily rates. There is no shortage of activities here, get up to berry picking, off-site ATV exploring, fishing, golfing with your friends and plenty of swimming!

Mons Lake Rec. Area

Enjoy camping in nicely treed and separated campsites at Mons Lake! They have 8 unserviced sites, a fish cleaning station and a boat launch.
Smoky Lake Golf Resort

Stay at 1 of the 14 full-service sites and golf the Smoky Lake Golf Club! This full service campground has 30 Amp power, picnic tables, potable water and sewage hookups.
Smoky Lake RV Park
Open: May - Sept. Located at 4612 - 54 Ave. 780-656-3674
Located behind the Smoky Lake Agricultural Complex Smoky Lake RV park has 12 stalls. Stall 1 – 7 have water and power, stalls 8 – 12 has water, power and sewer. Other amenities you can enjoy are washrooms/showers, firewood, playground, picnic tables and overflow parking.
Metis Crossing RV Park
Open: May - Sept. 1 km East on Victoria Trail off Hwy 855. 780-656-2229
Along the banks of the North Saskatchewan River, Metis Crossing RV Park is over 500 acres of tradition and customs found in one place. For anyone looking to gain an understanding of Metis culture and heritage, we’d recommend this. For more information see our webpage.
SpeddenGarner Lake Provincial Park
Open: May - Oct.5 km North of Spedden off Hwy 28. 780-594-7856
Just 5 kms north of Spedden you find Garner lake Provincial Park campground which has 61 sites suitable for both RV’s and tents. There are a few sites located on the lake and all sites are nicely treed and provide some privacy. Amenities available include a sandy beach, showers, flush toilets, dump station, firewood available for sale, and trails of all kinds (for biking, hiking, or strollers).
Open: Year-round. Hwy. 36 proceed 22 km North, 10 km East to dead-end, follow signs (at Whitefish Lake). 780-636-2819

Bonnie Lake Vilna Rec. Area

Just a 5 min. walk to Vilna golf course and a 5 min. drive to fishing, swimming and boating you can enjoy 1 of the 17 power sites or 27 un-serviced camping areas. Amenities available include a ball park, firewood for purchase, boat launch, water pump, cookhouse and a fish cleaning station.
