A Family Tradition Since 1948
In 1948, Roland Gamache established Roland's Jewelry in Morinville, Alberta, beginning as a quaint repair and retail shop. In 1953, Roland and his wife, Lena, moved their business to Fort Saskatchewan and though they have moved locations in Fort Saskatchewan a few times, Roland's Jewelry has remained a constant fixture in the city's business landscape from the beginning.
In 1974, Roland's son, Roger, joined the business as a clock maker and jeweler. Roger and his wife, Pat, have also added The Trophy Den as a another branch from the Roland's Jewelry brand - offering engraving and award services.
Custom design, special orders and appraisals have become a large part of the services offered by Roland's Jewelry, courtesy of Roger and Pat's daughter, Michelle, who joined the family business in 2004.
Roland's Jewelry recognizes that conscientious shoppers have an appetite for responsibly, ethically and locally sourced goods and they take great pride in meeting this need in their community by sourcing 90% of their gold and diamond jewelry from right here in Canada. Furthermore, Roland's Jewelry opts to source smaller Canadian manufacturers to ensure their selection is fresh and unique and set apart from all of the chain jewelry stores in the market.
With more than 65 years in business, shoppers at Roland's Jewelry have free access to a vast bank of knowledge from the owners and operators. Just ask. The Gamache family takes great joy in being able to help shoppers understand and appreciate the various aspects in jewelry and empowering them to make educated choices.
A small selection of the brands available: Maple Leaf Canadian Diamonds, Bulova, Fossil, Citizen, Pandora, Thomas Sabo, and Hillberg & Berk.
Services available are onsite goldsmith, watch repair, appraisals and engraving.
